Occupational Training Services

EMCC is now offering certificate and occupational training classes. See our offerings below.

1. Logistics Associate

2 ½ week class focused on the development of an entry level warehouse and/or logistics employee.  Students will learn to operate three classes of forklifts safely (stand up, reach and sit down) as well as receive their OSHA 10 Hour certification in General Industry.  Students are eligible to sit for the MSSC-Certified Logistics Associate Certification and also receive certification in LockOut/Tagout and Bloodborne pathogens.  After successful completion of this course, students are offered job development assistance including resume creation, mock interviews and specific job leads to assist in finding entry level employment.

2. EMCC Culinary Training 

Classes are provided with the financial support of: The American Baptist Churches, Central Indiana Community Foundation, Community Development Block Grant, Department of Workforce Development, EmployIndy, Glick Fund, Indianapolis Foundation, Local Initiatives Support Corporation, United Way of Central Indiana.
